Congratulations to the junior league team whose effort last Saturday contributed to RDASC’s place in the final to be held on Saturday 28th of April. Despite a lack of 9 years old boys and forfeiting some events, the team finished 3rd . Results here

With sadness and fondness we said goodbye to Barbara Hardisty who has looked after our Help Desk on a Thursday night since 1976! and our first ever club night. Barbara became Treasurer 3 months after Richmond Dales was set up and remained in the post until her ‘retirement’ from the club. We will not forget her, especially our youngsters who will attempt to get the Hardisty
Trophy for the boys 8yrs/under 25m freestyle, the Hardisty Cup for the girls 8yrs/under
25m freestyle and the Hardisty Trophy for the boys 9/10 50 Backstroke .
Wishing her all the best and hoping to see her from time to time at the pool.

Swimmers from RDASC competed at the Scottish Gas Age Group Championships in Sunderland this week, and Luke Buxton (17) earned 2 golds in butterfly after delivering a string of superb swims.
The Scottish Age Groups represent one of the top level of competition in the UK for age group swimmers and qualifying for this meet is already a fantastic achievement, allowing swimmers to go head to head against the fastest age group swimmers from all across Scotland and England. The competition is a major sporting event held over five demanding days with all of the preparation associated with a top level competition. This meet is a good insight stepping stone for the forthcoming ASA Youth championships with early warm ups (before 8am) and heats together with late finals (after 5pm) read on + results

Support request we would really like to hear from any parent or senior swimmer that could commit some time on a regular basis to help out on our desk on a Thursday night. We man the desk from 1700hrs to 2000hrs and would appreciate it if you could drop me a line if you can help, ideally we are looking at slots of 1hr and to have at least two helpers per hour.
